Meet Dr. Perry

I love helping people by creating beautiful smiles. Dentistry is my canvas. I work with my patients to determine a plan of action, keeping health and well-being at the forefront. It is a joy to work with patients to give them what they want and what they can afford.

Over the past 30 years, and for 20 years right here in Cromwell, I’ve been proud to provide my patients with the kind of care they can count on. I look forward to welcoming you into our dental family!

Education and continuing education

A native of Jackson, MS, I graduated from Terry High School and attended Tougaloo College for my undergraduate degree. In order to become a dentist, I spent the following years at the University of Connecticut School of Dentistry, where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine.

Of course, my education didn’t stop when I graduated. Over the past three decades, I’ve continued my education to stay at the forefront of dental treatments and technology. Most recently, I’ve taken some very interesting courses on the topics of cosmetic dentistry and the use of dermal fillers like Botox® to relieve facial pain, in addition to improving one’s appearance.

I’ve also studied emerging oral health issues regarding HIV and aging, the use of DNA tests to screen for HPV, and specialized screening for the causes of periodontal infections.

Outside the office

I am a proud resident of Middletown, CT, where I raised my son and daughter to be the wonderful people they are. My free time is spent enjoying all types of music, writing short stories and “chick lit,” attending church and book club, and watching and playing a wide variety of sports.

I am also dedicated to giving back to the community to make the world a better place for our children. I am a board member of the Buttonwood Tree Performing Arts & Cultural Center, chairman of Soul Passages (a book club Community Book Festival), organizer of the Sister Talk healthy living program at my church, and participant in the Sister Study Breast Cancer Research program.

Along with my fellow Sister 2 Sister book club members, I also “adopt” a family during the holidays to make sure their season is as merry and bright as possible. Giving back, both in the office and out, is what makes my life truly a joy.
